What is the name of your state? Georgia
i was just in a auto accident where a driver made a left hand turn in front of me, yet they are trying to say i ran a red light when it had just turned yellow 10 feet before i got into the intersection so it wasnt safe to stop, and i wasnt cited by the police. i just found out they are blaming me from my insurance company.

ok, sorry, here's my question then, how can it be my fault when they failed to yield to oncoming traffic and if i did run a redlight(which i didnt)wouldnt they be guilty of running it too?

It's not necessarily your fault. They are trying to avoid responsibility. Let your insurance handle it.

If it gets to the point where you are being sued and need an attorney, your insurance company will provide one for you.

the agency that handled the accident case got in touch with me earlier and informed me that the fault will be placed on the other driver for failure to yield right of way, i appreciate all the input everyone here gives me.
