Auto accident

My Fater was in an auto accident 2 1/2 months ago and the car has been in the shop since. Two months is a long time. This is there only car. The cannot afford to rent a car and the insurance will not cover it. What should they do?

Hello...have your parents read the fine print in their auto policy? in most cases, the car insurance pays for a rental while the car is being fixed. when i had my accident, the insurance co. tried to say i did not have this coverage, but since i was not at fault, they paid for a rental for a month. worth a look??

Mustang is correct. I just assumed that your folks do not have rental coverage in their policy. But do check.
