I bought a used vehicle from a dealer. They charged me for a 'TheftSheid Warranty' that will pay me benefits
"In the event that the Auto Security System installed in the VEHICLE specified in this Warranty fails to prevent the Vehicle from being stolen."
I was also charged for 'SafeGaurd' which is the "security
system" - the VIN is supposed to be etched in the vehicle windows.
There is no etching on the windows. Even if there were it wouldn't prevent theft, there isn't even a sticker to warn
a theif the vehicle is protected.
Do I have reason to contact an attorney? Thank you.

TheftSheild Warranty

If the SafeGuard is the Auto Security system referred to in the TheftSheild Warranty, then there is no reason to think the warranty is somehow defective.

If the VIN is supposed to be etched in the windows, and if there is supposed to be a sticker, then that is what the dealership is liable to you for: they are obligated to supply the etching and sticker if the system they sold you has those items as a component.
