i recently purchased an automobile from a local Nissan dealership. the business manager(who handled my purchase) and i, signed all of the necessary legal documents, including a point of sale form. he handed me the keys and i left assuming all procedures were final. almost a week to the date of sale, i was informed that i must either pay an $8,000 down payment, have a co-signer or return the vehicle.

my question is:
does the dealership have the right, after all paperwork has been signed, to request these negotiations?

I agree with IAAL. HE messed up and unfortunately, his company will have to eat the cost. Next time, to avoid this worry, make sure you have ALL the i's dotted and ALL the t's crossed. : - )
