What is the name of your state? Texas
I turned a lease car that I leased for 5 years. I turned around and bought two preowned cars. For over two years the sales representative said he would help me through the transition and I had never leased a car before. Once all was completed, I knew that I owed for mileage overage, desposal fee and the last payment - all of which was paid for from the new car loans. I receive a huge itemize bill from the previous lender for wear and tear. Never in the beginining and through the end and buying the new cars had I been made aware of the Wear and Tear agreement. Just that leasing was simple easy and less expensive. However, the wear and tear only seem to apply to the outside of the car and not the interior or engine. The car only had 80,000 miles and I don't recall all the damage that was accessed. Wear and tear for nicks, scratches, tires and dents. I have never had a car accident claim in the 30 plus years that I have driven and the car in question has already been sold at auction. How can I be certain that they were looking at the right car and bill for such crazy damages that total in the thousands. I made every payment paid all the fees i thought were correct.:confused:
