auto loan approval, finance co changes mind

My roomate bought a new car last month, now the finance company has sent a letter that they cannot approve her loan!They have already sent payment book, and 1st payments not even due yet........can the finance company do that?

Well, this happens quite a lot. read the agreement signed and then come back to this board. Does it say it was conditioned on anything?
