i live in ohio. my husband and i have been seperated for 11 months, without any legal seperation or papers, niether one of us is doing anything about making this situation permanent, i am hoping for a reconciliation, my question is, at what point in time and is it possible for this situation to turn into an automatic divorce? what are the ins and outs of this?

I AM ALWAYS LIABLE

My response:

There is no such thing as an "automatic divorce". One of you must affirmatively file an action for Dissolution against the other, culminating in a "judge signed" Decree of Divorce.

Well, I misspoke myself somewhat. There is, in the law of every State, a provision for automatic divorce - - death.
