we are under agreement with a builder to complete our house by june 15, house was not complete, p&s has 30 day extention clause, the broker had us sign a 30 day extension agreement a few days prior to june 15, assuming this was the automatic 30 days, house is not finished and broker now says they are exersisiing the automatic 30 day extension on 7/16 and say we have to accept it even though we thought had already been exhausted back when we signed the extension. Can they do this?

Yes they can. You should understand what you are signing or don't sign. You should have hired an attorney to review your contract.
