What is the name of your state? TX

Hey everyone, when i was stationed @ ft lewis my wife encountered a serious number of very complicated problems, Tried everything even getting her in exceptional family member program, they denied b/c unit was so close to deployment. Its my fault all of this happened but i took her home got her everything she needs (ie counseling, meds ect) and i promised my unit id return when i got my **** straight. They said ok . My ****s straight now and i am wanting to return but ive been gone 6 months(and so had my unit). Will they let me deploy to my unit or throw my ass in jail and kick me out? I seriously used every channel to relieve my problems but they all blew me off saying i was just a coward for not wanting to deploy but that was never the case. I want to go to iraq even if it means going tomorrow. This is a very shortened version of the story but thats basically it. I got some NCO friends on the REAR DETATCHMENT there . Should i call in a favor to them and ask if they could get me some info on going to iraq or jail? I need some help. Thanks.

Im not asking you to make my choices, Im asking advice on what the possibilities could be on each scenario i posted. Which is why i came here ->(i.e. FREEADVICE.COM)

And to answer the other one. No i was not given permission to go awol but my command understood my situation and said if i get there before deployment i would not be punished. Which i didnt.

scenario1: they take you back and NJP you -- field grade, you take the bust in rank, reduction in pay, restriction, and extra duty and finish out your enlistment.

scenario2: they Chapter 10 you out of the service with a OTH discharge (probably after the NJP extra duty and restriction).

scenario3: they charge you with missing a movement and desertion with intent to avoid hazardous duty. You are sentenced to the maximum of 7 years in Leavenworth, a dishonorable discharge, and forfeiture of all pay and allowances.

We can't guess which course your unit will choose. It will totally up to the discretion of your commander in consultation with the base Staff Judge Advocate.

Thanks

Thanks for all of your comments. I spoke to my Unit Rear D 1SG. ( I knew him previous to AWOL ) He said since there is nothing wrong with me , just that of my wife i will be deployed seeing as how my unit left with 85% strength . Although it could be a trick and i could goto leavenworth for all i know but ill take the risk and let god lead the way. Thanks everyone.
