What is the name of your state? arkansas. asking for my son, my girlfriend moved in with me 2 months before my daughter was born and now my baby is 6 weeks old. i have taken care of both of them from day one, i pay all the bills and pay for all my daughters needs. we are going to marry soon. but someone told me that if she decided to not marry me and move out that she could sue me for child support from the first day of my daughters birth even thou i have taken care of my daughter all this time. now i know she can sue me from the time she moves out and i will pay it because i love my daughter and i want the best for her... no problem. i was wondering now with the what if's. is this ture?

She can sue you back to the baby's birth and for any reasonable birthing/pregnancy costs. Whether she would be awarded it is a different story.

she did not pay for the birth of our daughter. i was just wondering if she could get back cs from the birth.
Maybe. I already answered you -- and you really need to stop with the different threads for crying out loud. Three going at once under child support?

Considering I was the only one answering you, you might have wanted to take that in to consideration. As for being a smart ass, I do at least have smarts somewhere. YOu on the other hand weren't even smart enough to read the TOS.

You may have to prove

that she was living with you with the baby from birth forward to keep from paying back cs. In most cases, they would award it from the date of file (such as she files and it takes 2 months before going before a judge, they would set back cs to when she filed).

Pay with checks, get receipts and always fill in the note area of the check such as "dr visit for (insert child's name here).

Bull. Try knowing what the law states before responding.
