I don't think so...WHICH ONE!!! Every time the tech could see something, she'd let us know and we'd turn our heads. It wasn't easy!!!! Rad asked me "do you really want to know that bad?" I looked at him and said "don't ask me that!!!!" We all laughed! I must say, it's one of the hardest things i've done. And the head...it looked SO big already....EEEEKKK, now I'm thinking how to get that big ol' head out without killing myself!!! LOL Now the memories of the pain from the last 2 are coming back...Can't he/she just stay put...LOL

Well I better go.

# 4 & 5 of course I don't know what I'm talking about, those ultrasounds just look like weather sonars to me.

don't worry about the size of the head, just get an epidural and you won't feel anything. I slept thru hard labor. ;) I had an excellent Dr.

Bugaboo, they are so sweet. Here, and I don't know, they could be everywhere else, I do live in backwoods TN-we are pretty behind on everything. One of the hospitals up in nashville has ultrasounds where you can see the baby just like looking at a picture. It is soooo cool. You can actually see the baby like you took a photo of it and it is already here.
oh, and by the way, I nearly faint when anyone comes near me with a needle(and I am in the wrong line of work, I have had to have no less than 6 shots in a year) but She Ra I am not, a few seconds of the pain of a needle, and then no more at all was worth it :) Unless you have fast labors. I got the epidural with my son, and within minutes he was born, so I had roughly four hours of knowing how it feels to be paralized from the waist down, and nothing to distract me(IE- Pushing the baby out)
Good luck to both of you. I know all your children are looking forward to the new baby.

where are you in TN? I'm from there.

bug, I didn't even feel the needle going into my back. Of course I was having a contraction while he was doing it, but it didn't bother me at all.

Ok, I'm up from my nap... Anyhoo, TNBS they are called 3D ultrasounds. Rad and I have an apt in March to have one done. I can't wait!

Also my labors are real short. My first was 4 hours 15 min. My second was only 3 hours 40 min. First was HORRIBLE back labor and second was a breeze. I have a feeling I will have back labor again cuz my back hurts real bad all the time.

Anyway, still waking up so I'll go for now.

Aw, bug.......how sweet!! Thanks for posting them-----my "baby" will be 5 in the spring, and I've been having those "I want to be pregnant and have another"pangs for about 18 months. It was so warming to see your pics. :)

I'm with ya on the needles! I'm a bit like "Donkey" in Shrek-----"is that blood?" and then I'm passed out on the floor. LOL My first son, I had nothing....for 21 hours....My second one, I had a Demerol Drip where I could press a button and receive a mild dose of demerol through the I.V. every fifteen minutes if I wanted it. My "baby" came too fast for anything----90 minutes with her from beginning to end...

I couldn't see anything "identifying" in your pics, but I know this much.......If you give birth to a girl on April 17, she'll be perfect in every way. But then, I'm a bit biased about that....;)

well, must be nice!LOL When they did mine they wouldn't do it when there was a contraction, so everytime I had one (about 30 seconds apart) the idiot would stop! Made me so mad! Then the stupid thing wore off anyway!:( First two were natural. Daughters birth was horrible, I had NO CLUE that it was suppose to feel like I needed to push! I had that urge once told the doctor and we started, then the urge went away but I kept pushing, boy did that do some damage!!!!

Bugaboo, I don't see a "winky" in any of the other photos, you guys are tricking! Those photos aren't even at the right angle to see a "winky"!LOL However, the very first one, looks like there is on there.

Holy Crap Buckets! I lived in Mt. Pleasant! I lived there for 13 yrs but moved in 2000 to this God forsaken state. We may very well know one another, considering where I worked at. Hey, my ex husband lives in Columbia, wanna go beat him up for me?

NO EPI!!! NO NEEDLES!!! Rad thinks I'm crazy for not wanting one! LOL Oh well.

I looked, I didn't see a winky, but I just have that mommies feeling that "it's" a boy. Rad is a boy making machine!! LOL But I do kinda hope that "it's" a girl. He so badly wants a daughter.

Anyhoo, gotta go eat,,,again. :D

LMSP, that is too wild. When did you move away from here? I've been here 13 years now. Sure, I'll go beat your ex up, lol, he can get in line behind mine. As mad at mine as I am for not calling our son on his birthday, I think I could do some damage to both mine and yours :p. Such a small world.

Bug, Good for you. I wish I had been able to be strong like you and have them natural.... lol, but for me the very first labor pain hit, and I was screaming for relief(I know, I am such a baby) I still tell people I don't even know how I managed to give birth to two babies with my tolerance for pain being so low.

Craftymom, I am right there with you on those maternal pangs, my baby just turned 8 last Saturday....they grow so fast.
