i have a question i live in los angles i was terminated after 10 and a half years as a live in careprovider. my husband lived their also and got paid it isnt requiredment that you be married they have single careproviders. i had made complaints to my admin. for illegal pratices i was told to watch it or it would be my job and to keep my mouth shut. they wrote my husband up for something that wasnt true but they told us that we should let it go and drop it he did then 3 months later they fired him in part because of the letter they wanted me to leave and said now i was a single careprovider i would have to quit my 2 job which i worked during my off time i refused a showed them how the employee manual says other jobs are ok . we hired this attorney he never kept us up dated he missed depositions or never told us we even had one scheduled he had me write all the letters and put things in cronilogical order he gave me a book of questions one for 50 proof of documents i compleated it and another for me that had 120 questions and the same for my husband i filled these out the best i could he never did any inquires for us from our employer then after 2myears he called me to bring in some papers i did he took them and handed me a form and said he was withdrawing i ask how he could do this i needed him he said to sign the form it didnt mean i agreed then said that we had a court date in i month and to get another attorney is this legal
