bad check charges

didn't know what board to put this on, so i am hoping that someone here can help.

if a client writes a bad check to our business. we have the right to charge them the maximum amount - $25 for the return check fees. in the mean time, the deposit of course is rejected and two checks from the company are returned for INS FNDS. can i hold that client liable for the return deposit or return check fees?
