What is the name of your state?VA

I HAVE A HUGE QUESTION AND I HAVE SEARCHED AND SEARCHED FOR THE ANSWER AND CANT FIND IT. IF THE OWNER OR PRESIDENT OF A COMPANY WRITES A CHECK AND THE CHECK TURNS OUT TO BE BAD, IS THE PERSON CRIMINALLY LIABLE FOR THE CHECK OR IS THE OCMPANY LIABLE FOR THE CHECK IN A CIVIL MATTER. I GUESS MY QUESTION IS CAN A COMPANY OWNER BE CRIMINALLY CHARGED IF THEY WRITE A AD CHECK TO MY STORE ON THEIR COMPANY ACCOUNT? ALSO IF THEY GIVE THEIR EMPLOYEE A PAYROLL CHECK THAT IS CASHED AT MY STORE, CAN THEY BE HELD CRIMINALLY LIABLE OR DO I HAVE TO PURSUE THE COMPANY IN A CIVIL MATTER?

My response:

Why are you SCREAMING at us? Take the caps off, and re-write it properly.

Any real advice?

I came on here asking for advice on the above question. If you don't have any good feedback and just want to put me down don't bother writing, ok. If anyone can help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it. I don't have time for losers to judge me, nor do I care to be criticized on the way I have written my post.

My response:

Thanks for taking the caps off in your response above, and for being completely defensive, and argumentative.

Haven't you wondered why you're not getting any substantive responses to your questions? Could it be that I am correct?

Now all you have to do is re-write your initial post. Or, you may simply choose to go away.

Ok now that someone completely un-helpful has responded, let me write my question again. The initial question was this. If the owner of a company writes a check, that turns out to be bad, is their anything that can be done criminally to the owner, or does it have to be taken care of in civil court? Also, if the owner writes out payroll checks that are no good, and they are cashed at my store, or at the employees bank, can it be pursued criminally, or does the bank, and the owner of the store have to pursue it in civil court? I would appreciate feedback with some real answers on this matter. Thanks

Your membership will be deleted.

You need an attitude adjustment.

A Real Answer WITHOUT THE JUDGEMENT FACTOR...

Some Of Us Are Just Bored....lol,

At Anyrate The Answer To Your Question .... If Indeed This Company Is A Corporation And Dependant Upon The State Of Incorporation And Structure You Will Most Likely Have To Hold The Company Responsible For The Bad Check Simply Because A Corporation Is A Entity Of Its Own It Acts As A Person Although It Is Controlled By A Person. And On The Reverse Side Having The Information Of The President Or Controlling Officer Will Help When Seeking Damages... You May Be Able To List The Corp And The Controlling Officer Both. As Always See An Atty Prior To Action. Hope This Helps.

I Have A Complaint To File As Well.... That Was Rude.
