What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

I am a small business owner and received 4 checks from a client the amounts were $75, $100.97, $100.97, and $113.95. She asked me to hold the two for $100.97 for 5 and 10 days which I did. I cashed the $75.00 and it came back saying there wasn't enough money in the account. I also cashed the $113.95 and that came back as stopped. She has apologized for the bad checks and keeps telling me she'll make arrangements with me, but she never does. Today I went to her bank and there is no money in the account. I cannot get a hold of her and now her phone is turned off. What do I do from here? I appreciate all the advice I can get. Thanks in advance!

If you can find her and she has money, sue her in small claims court.

Some states may have laws that state when you agree to hold a check, it turns it into a promissory note, which means there is no more criminal liability on such a check. Check with the cops if you decide to go the criminal route.
