What is the name of your state?Washington

I signed a lease back in Feb and was to move in with my boyfriend. We had spoke with the landlords and informed them that I would not be moving in till 3-4 months down the road. Shortly after my boyfriend moved in he became very abusive and started to sell drugs out of the rental.(even to the landlord/property owner) I have a serious health condition that couldn't deal with the stress and my family made me leave the state. I let the landlords know that I was no longer residing in the state and that I couldn't handle the abuse and the drugs.
Almost 2 years later they are trying to get $4000.00 out of me even after they evicted my now ex-boyfriend.
Can anyone give some advice on what to do?

**A: demand the documentation itemizing the charges. That's the first step.
