I have rental property in the State of Florida. I rented to a young man who has two pitbulls (he said they were american ? terriers when I asked). I also didn't see the dogs before he moved in. I did call his references who said his pets were no problem.

One of his dogs attacked the next door neighbors dog and nearly killed the dog. The pitbull was not on a lease and "got out the front door?. The next door neighbor sad she is going to sue me if I don't "get the tenant out".

1. Am I liable for the dogs actions?
2. Can I evict the tenant for his dogs actions?
3. Can the neighbor hold me liable for renting to this man?

Thanks.
