What is the name of your state? Florida

I recently built a new home and had my personal belongings stored in PODS (portable storage units) on my property where I was living with my in-laws for 8 months until our house was done. The problem - when I went into one of our Pods in Dec I noticed a musty smell. I opened one of the boxes and everything was covered in mold. I took out insurance on the PODS so I called them to find out what I needed to do. It took close to 2 weeks for someone to come out and look at my stuff. The first adjuster looked at a few things and said he will try to get a company to come out to pull everything out and look at it, since I'm highly allergic to mold. That was denied. The first adjuster had to hand the case over to someone else since he had to finish a case he was working on. The second adjuster told me that everything has to be taken out of the PODS for him to inspect it. (my whole entire house was in 2 PODS- each pod holds 1500 sf of a home) I did what he said and he came to look at the stuff. He inspected the PODS (15 minutes), which had sever water damage/due to holesin the PODS and mold and said this looks like my house and said it was nothing. My leather couches are covered in over an inch thick of green mold, and this is nothing! After he looked at everything he told me that it was my responsibility to protect my belongings from father damage. I had no other choice but to store my moldy belongings in my new garage (house). That was on Jan 20th. He told me it should take a week to find out what’s going to happen. We've been calling every week since Jan 20th; no one would get back to us. The smell from the stuff is now going into my house and making me sick (allergies). We finally got a hold of the manager last week March 11th and demanded an answer. He told us that he spoke with a specialist and said everything can be cleaned, he said for us to get an estimate from a company (this is what they denied in the beginning) and he will give us $3,000 to clean our stuff. I have $25,000-$30,000 of my belongings that are damaged and can't be cleaned, like my leather couches. I don't know what to do or what type of lawyer I need.

Please help I need some advice!!!

Mold claims are the bane of the insurance industry in many states now

Look for a lawyer under Enviornmental and Toxic Torts, or under insurance law, or Personal Injury.
