I live in NY and my Insurance Co. has denied my claim. Does NYS have a bad faith law?

Unless you explain the details, maybe YOU made an unjustifed and ILLEGAL claim!

I had a fire in my house (total) The insurance co from the start called it arson, even before they had lab results. They accused myself of such arson even though I was home at time in second house. Their lab results finally came back saying gas. The State Police results came back no such anything. They still refuse to pay and I am now in litigation, but as I stated right from the beginning thay refused to pay and also accused me without an investigation. Can I sue for Bad faith. The company is Allstate.
