i have recently settled a case with workers comp in florida
but here is my question
i agreed upon a certain amount of money in the case
and that is what i am getting however part of the deal was that no child support was taken out and now they are taking
it out any ways they say that it was not in the paper work that i signed my lawyer passed the case on from one person to another in his office and they are saying that if it was not in the paper work i signed that it is my fault
there was no lawyer present when i signed the paper work and i assumed that they knew what that were doing so i just signed the paper work
i dont mind paying the child support but if i new they were going to take it out i would have not settled for the amount
i settled for i had a deal no child support it was agreed upon by both sides the court rep was there and she knows it my wife was there and she Knows it
my lawyer was there and he knows it but because he transfered me to another lawyer in the firm he didnt know it
so the paper work went out without that in it and i didnt know it. what do i do?
it is quite a bit of money do i just lose it or what?
