Each time my ex-husband calls or comes to pick-up/drop off our daughter for visitation he makes very loud false accusations, rude comments and engages in derogatory name calling in an attempt to have the neighbors or anyone on my property hear his comments and effect their opinion. What recourse do I have other than a restarining order?

Restraining order? Good luck with that one.

As for other options, you can stomp your feet, ball your hands into little fists, hold your breath until you turn blue and steam comes out of your ears and pout.

Or you can grow up and ignore him.

When he pulls up- send your daughter outside to his car, while you remain inside. Then shut the door.

Tell daughter to just come in the house when she gets home.

Avoid contact with him when possible, since this is damaging emotionally for your child.

IF your court order states that neither parent is to speak disparagingly to/about the other in the child's presence~ have a friend/neighbor/family member with you at drop off/pick up and you'll have a witness to the behavior if you wanted to spend the time and money to pursue contempt charges.

Refuse to participate or react...that will eventually take all the 'fun' out of it for the X.
