Bad Tech from comcast

Ok so lat thur (23rd) we had a tech come to our house cause our cable keeps cutting out. The guy showed up around 1:30ish, first of all this guy smelled so horrible it was all I could do to keep from puking every where he smelled like stale ciggs, bad cheap beer, and BO it was as this guy had never showered in his life.

He came into our house and was so rude and hateful towards me he asked me why he was down here (here being belen) he was really pissed off about that, I told him our cable keeps on cutting out and I also told him my husband will be back in a few mins to tell him exactly what is going on cause I didn't know. He told me to go get our cable modem so I did as I turned and walked away he mumbled "stupid woman" ok yes I am a woman and am sometimes stupid but he had no right to call me that.

Right after I went into our room to get the modem my husband came back and said hello to the guy and the guy didn't say anything back to him. So my husband tries to tell him whats going on and the guy told him he didn't know what he was talking about and that he'll run his tests, ok fine we let him get to work.

The tech went back into our room where the modem is and there is a small pile of clothes on the floor and I go to tell him I'll move them for him and he kicks them and stand on them. Then he goes outside and slams the door on his way out making a picture on the wall fall and waking up my 2 toddlers(for those with kids getting a 2 & 4 yr old down for a nap is a job, getting them to sleep is near to impossible). He comes in and he's cussing under his breath.

He then says he needs to run outside tests so back outside slamming the door he goes. he then goes to the roof of our house and he's stompin around on the roof doing slight damage to our metal roof. He comes back inside slamming the door yet again.

At this point I am really pissed cause he called me a "stupid woman" and is slamming doors and is stomping around like my 2 yr old does when he's throwing a fit. The tech finally decides that its not our fault after 1.5 hr's of him messin around and throwin a fit everywhere. So he wants to run an outside test and opend up a new roll of cable throws his trash all over our yard and has cable all over the place.

He then says its a line thing and someone will be back on the 29th he throws the paper on the table and tells us to sign and then he leaves. Never cleaned up his trash or picks up his cable. I am at this point beyond pissed and I get on the phone as he's pulling out of our driveway and call to make a complaint.

I call comcast and ask to speak to a supervisor one finally gets on and I tell her everything that went on and that I am very upset and wanting to cancel my service. She tells me not to cancel they will get it all taken care of and she will e-mail the supervisor of all the techs and tell him what ahppened and he will call me to have it taken care of she also tell me she will call me tomorrow fri 24th. I got a call from the techs supervisor and he asked me to tell him what happened so I tell him the same thing I told the lady supervisor and the tech supervisor says he will look into it and that he will call me back tomorrow being fri the 24th. I never got a call back I have tried calling and have been blown off. I have the # to the corportate office.

my question is would I be in the wrong to call the corporate office and tell them whats going on and ask for a credit for the poor, rude service we got and for our service cutting in and out for about 2 wks?

You are kidding, right? Of course you should call and ask for something -- you probably shouldn't expect them to just give it to you, but they might, and of course you should call.
 
I've tried calling the lady supervisor who I first talked to but no luck. I am still upset at how rude this guy was and how his comments were uncalled for. I just want to get some other opinions on what someone else would do and go about doing it. Cause the way I'm doing isn't working very well.
 
Well today we had a follow up with a new tech and this guy was awesome! so nice and very good and his job. I tried calling the same supervisor I talked to the first time I called and all I have gotten is voice mail. So being tired of feeling like I'm getting the run around I call the corporate office and tell them everything I have said to the local supervisors and tell them that I feel like i'm being run in circles and am seriously thinking of canceling my service and the corporate office tells me to NOT cancel they will address this issue right away....not even 30 mins later I again get a call from comcast and this time its a quality control specialist and I tell her the same thing I have told to 5 other people. This lady is very pleasent and polite and is very upset by the horrible service we had recieved and told me that we will get a credit for our service cutting in and out for 2 wks and she's going to get all the phone logs to see if I have called like I said I have and to see why they haven't done anything to fix this wrong. I'll update later when I see whats going on.
