I HAD A MORTGAGE ON BANK DRAFTS.APROX 9 MONTHS AGO I MADE A CASH PAYMENT OF ABOUT 15000. THE BANK QUIT DRAFTING NOTES SO I CALLED AND THEY SAID THE MORTGAGE WAS PAID OFF.I WAITED APPROX 4 MONTHS AND WENT TO BANK AND GOT RELEASE DEED. I THEN OBTAINED ANOTHER 1ST TO REMODEL. THE BANK JUST CONTACTED ME AND SAID THERE CLERKS MADE AN ERROR IN SHOWING THIS MORTGAGE AS BENN PAID OFF. THERE NOW TRYING TO COLLECT
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT ON THERE MISTAKES OR AM I UP A CREEK WITHOUT A PADDLE?
