a friend of mine has a checking account with his dads name and hi well' his dad died and my friend open his own account with the same bank he deposited money in new account later the bank takes money from his account and put in the account with his and his dads money to cover a check from the shared account without permission is this legal we live in georgia

Not legal unless you signed paperwork (dad and son) to that effect. Or they have an account that has NSF protection by doing an automatic transfer of money to cover checks to be paid.
