Bankruptcy 7 and employesr

What is the name of your state?OH

Does filing BK 7 mean the court or creditors will notify my employer? Does your name somehow get put in the local newspaper, etc?

If your employer is not a creditor then there is no reason for them to be notified of anything. Some papers do still publish bankruptcy filings.. so check your papers and find out if they still do it.
