Bankruptcy and credit cards

North Carolina. I am filing bankruptcy in about 3 weeks, have already paid my lawyer, signed beginning paperwork today. In the past 2 weeks have spent approx 1200. on credit cards, how will this affect me???? I need help asap. Thank you

Stop using those cards. If you haven't told your lawyer about this, it'd be a good idea to clue them in about now. I would imagine the trustee will take a hard look at the recent expenditures and unless it was an emergency, you'll probably be forced to pay that money back.
