This is in the California

I am the beneficiary(non family)of a recently deceased who had filed for bankruptcy but the case has not yet been heard.

The will is in my favor, and the amount owed to creditors is more than the amount of the estate.

Questions..

Can the bankruptcy be allowed to proceed or does this go to probate?

Do I have access to the estates funds now or must I wait until after probate or bankruptcy case has been heard?

Do I have any right to the assets before the creditors?

Finally, if these cannot be answered, can someone refer me to a web aite that shows the Chapter 7 Code or Probate codes in California.
