What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri
I'm saving up to get a lawyer to file bankruptcy but I have a question about how to file taxes. I plan to file bankruptcy without my husband and I know I still have to meet the means test using both our income, which I think I can squeeze under. Since we file separate tax returns, (as we're separated) I always have to pay taxes April 15 but he has a house so he gets a refund. Does his refund figure into the means test and, if so, does the amount I have to pay reduce that at all?
Thanks
