saw you are in TN? what part? I have both my childhood friends living in TN-one outside Nashville, one in Memphis-
just curious.

I live near Dayton, TN. Home of the Scopes Monkey trial. It is 50 miles to Chattanooga or Knoxville. The 4th and 3rd largest cities in the state.

BTW, just to show the ex's committment to the kids: This is her weekend with them and our son and daughter are in the annual Strawberry Festival parade. My daughter stayed with me last night because she is going to be the mascot for my company in the parade. Son called after he got to mother's house last night and asked me to take him to the parade because his mother has a tanning bed appoint ment and can't get him there. Her priorities are all screwed up.

I, myself, have only been to Memphis-but my other friend lives in Knoxville-she keeps wanting me to visit some day....got horses, dogs, end even wolves!!!
Loved Memphis, though! Yep, got to see Elvis's house and everything! Loved the blues places, too-
I could see my husband and myself moving out that way some day-in a few years maybe-right now, we both have ailing parents and would not leave for any reason...
Have you thought about counseling for your kids?

My kids have been in counseling on and off since the separation. See my other post for good news from the lawyer today!
