i am buying a 2nd row beach lot in north carolina.in the warranted deed by the original owners it states (grantor reserves unto themselves, their heirs and assigns an easement over and across the land ) does this mean that when i buy this lot that the easement is still legal.the lot with the easement and the 2nd row lot was owned by the same person.when he split the land and sold the ocean front lot he had the easement put in the deed so that the 2nd row lot had ocean access. i live in ny state

Speak with a local law firm . that easement sounds too vague , If perhaps it is something you find you can live with, perhaps a lawyer could help you make it very specific
