I wrote a letter to my cousins job stating that she was stealing unauthorize medication (viagra) and selling it on the street. She has also stolen birth control medication (Dep-po) and injected in into my daughter and her friend who is now deceased. She has injected B-12 shots into her brother and she has given my daughter stomach medication. I didn't think the doctor was aware of this so I brought it to his attention. He informed me that he would investigate and take matters in his hands. He fired her about a month later. She is now suing me for 25,000 for lost wages and defamation of character. Adpparently the doctor was successful in his investigation. She then wrote a letter to my job as well as my daughters and stated things like were prostitutes, selling of drugs and other things. My job nor my daughters employers took it seriously for we were not dismissed from out position. I don't have any written evidence, I only have my daughter who was good friends with my cousin and she felt the need to confide all of her dirty dealing with my daughter. Can I use my daughter as a witness when I go to court on this matter. I was out rage to find that my daughter was that stupid to let this woman inject her with medication not prescribe by the doctor and to solicit my daughters boy friend to try and sell viagra on his job. If you have any advice on what I should do please contact me. I have no money for legal services and I know I did the right thing, this woman is dangerous and she is going to cause some doctor a lot of pain and suffering if she is'nt stopped.

Yes, I have been served and there is no mention in it stating why she was fired.
Then you need an attorney and NOW!

You are not equipped to handle such a defense and although you have given enough facts here to offer basic advice, only your own attorney can subpoena records and take testimony and depositions from the woman's boss and other witnesses.

Hopefully, what you told her employer was the truth. If not you could be in big trouble. Big, expensive trouble.

You had WHAT for evidence of all this drug stealing and dealing? Your daughter's statements?

Ooooops!
