What is the name of your state? Arizona , phoenix I would like to know what the statued of limitations in AZ is for suing someone for an accident that happened a year ago.I took my boss's car home overnight to test drive it , when i was driving to work the next morning i had entered an intersection at the same time a lady was making a left hand turn. I got the ticket becouse a witness said I was the one who was at fault becouse i had according to her run a red light. In traffic school you are told that if you have entered an intersection while the light turns yellow you are to clear it,If I had not yet entered the intersection and the light turns yellow i would have had to stop.I was in the intersection when the light turned yellow when this lady failed to yield to oncomming traffic, the road wasn't clear but she turned anyway. This happened at a corner with a convenience store. The cashier at the store says she saw this from inside the store.I asked the police man if the lady was ok and he said she was a little frightened otherwise ok.Now a year after the accident my boss and I are both being sued for pain and suffering ,well at least he is becouse I haven't bin served yet. This happened in Dec.2003. What should I do? my boss is being sued and now they are comming after me.Can she still do that after one year,or should i just avoid being served with court papers until this is all over.

Your boss's insurance will handle the claim. They have probably already tried to settle but she is holding out.

You should have contested the ticket.
