I'm being sued by old landlord and I'm being told if I don't show body attachment can happen. No date for court all that is blank. I'm on SSI. I have no assets

A body attachment would be for violation of a court order. You will not be arrested for failing to show up in court for a civil action. The most that will happen if you fail to show up in court for the lawsuit is that the landlord will get a default judgment against you.

If you have been served with a summons and complaint, you should respond to the complaint.

You can call the court to learn the date for the hearing, if one has been scheduled.

If you are on SSI and have no other income or assets, then you are uncollectable even if the landlord gets a default judgment against you. You would even be uncollectable if your only income was SSDI or SS retirement benefits. None of that can be touched for consumer debt.

However I am assuming that this is small claims court. It would not be a bad idea to show up for court and tell them that your only income is SSI.
