What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IN
I just got served a summons for a debt to a collection agency on a past credit card. I thought the name of the bank looked familar, and looking in my old paper work, I found the paper work from when I was sued for this same debt back in 2004 by another collection agency. I had a judgement placed against me and a garnishment of my wages till the debt was paid off in 2005.

I can't be sued again can I? I have the paper work showing the previous lawsuit and judgement, do I just claim in my response to the summons that this debt was paid and include copies of the previous action?

Yes. Sometimes the "debts"/accounts travel from creditor to creditor and someone obviously forgot to make a note that your account had been resolved already.
