What is the name of your state? Minnesota

Ok so 2 years ago I was involved in an accident (t-boned a car at 10 mph). Just recently, I received some mail stating that the other party now wants to sue me for injuries, emotional distress, etc. I have pretty much no clue what to do now. Should i look for an attorney? Should i just go to court and represent myself?

Oh yeah, the other party is suing for "excesses of $50,000" and as far as i know, my policy covers up to $100,000 per person or $300,000 per occurence. Im not even sure what that means, is she suing for $50,000 then? Sorry, im still pretty young and yes my parents are extremely upset at me. Any advice would be helpful. Thank You.

contact your insurance company immdeiately. They are there to defend you. If you told them of the accident when it originally happened 2 years ago, then they should provide you with a legal defense.

As for the amount of the lawsuit, just consider it to be "whatever we can get out of him".
