About 14mos ago I was arrested for a DUI. I received a light sentence of 1 yr. probation, Counter-attack school, VAP, 100 hrs community service. During the last month of my probation Iwas violated. I went to court and the judge extended my probation a month, in which I would complete the terms. And that's what I did. All the terms of my probation are completed! For some unknown reason, idiocy is a strong candidate, I did not show for my second court appearance. A Bench Warrant was issued for my arrest. I have sent a letter of apology to the judge, begging him to reshedule me for an appearance. The Warrant was issued 2 days ago. I am still free. My questions are
1 - Can the Police search my home in Florida, if they are met w/ continued denials of my whereabouts or just no answers to the door?
2 - If I show up to the Court House will they arrest me if I bring them the proof of my completion of probation?
3 - Does it ever happen that someone get's resheduled for appearance and doesn't get arrested?
