My husband named his mother as his beneficiary on his life
insurance policy before we were married. After we were married the beneficiary was never changed. We were married for six months and he died of a heart attack. Isn't it a Georgia Law that if your spouse does not sign a waiver for a beneficiary other than the spouse the spouse would automatically be the beneficiary?
