My son is 9 years old and he is blind, I never applied for any benefit, now I am trying to buy a condo, I would like to know if there is any help form the ss that we can have in order to pay the mortgage??

I am sorry your son is blind, but are you? NO! SSI will not help you with your mortgage payment.

I disagree with shay. You may be able to get SSI for your son. Call the social security office at 1-800-772-1213 to find out if he is eligible. Technically I think the money he gets is suppose to go to him but then you will have extra money for your home.
