What is the name of your state?undefinedWhat is the name of your state? Alabama

My father recently passed away and left my brother as personal representative. My sister and I were bequeathed specific personal items in the will. We, unfortunately, do not get along with my brother. Is he obligated under the law to ensure we receive these items? Can we request him to send these items. (We both live far away.) Also , is there a specific timeframe in which he's obligated to deliver those items to us?? Thanks.

I have never heard of a "bequeathment."

Anyway, contact the probate court in the county where the dearly departed died and ask if there is file on that person.

If so, get a complete copy of the file. It's public info.

Items left in Will (Bequeath, Inheritance)

Items that are left to someone in a will are called bequeath items. I am not looking for a form. Please read the below info again. Thanks.
