I posted this question and read the answer but I called the court again today and was told the same thing. The person who does the best interest evalution is just someone from probation department not a doctor nor a social worker so how can it be a best interest evalution? Doing some readin at other sights and there best interest evalution is with a doctor detail interviews, testing, observation with childwith each parent looking at all material presented to them, and then a recommendtion is entered. So how is it the evalution that comes from my court is a singular interview, will not look at any material that you want to show them, you can make metion of it but they will not look at it,they do a backrground check and that is it sohow is that a best interest evaluation how can they get anything out of it let alone make a call on custody? why does the one sight say they go into great detail about info and the probation best interest go into nothing? Any thought in what I need to do? P.S. my lawyer seems suprised at this turn of events and frankly I feel like Iam out on my own about this whole case......
