What is the name of your state? Florida
I am in the USA on an E2 visa. This lasts for 3 years and then is renewable. I own a business here and live and work here. I am trying very hard to insure myself but all insurance companys ask if I am a permanent citizen or Green card holder, which, on paper I am not, although I do live and work here, I have a soc/sec number and pay tax here.
Does anyone know of any company that will insure E2 visa holders? What is the name of your state?

I worked for a major ins. co. (now taken over by another co.) We would insure (though each case was "underwritten"/considered on an individual basis) individuals here on an E2 visa if they have been in the US for at least one year, had a job & had no current plans to return to their foreign "residence." The plan of ins. was normally limited to a whole life plan (as opposed to a term plan) & we normally did not issue benefits such as waiver of premium or accidental death. You might try Met Life, Prudential, Mutual of NY, & NY Life Ins. Co. If they say no, you might ask them if they know of any companies that would insure you - a lot of time other companies know this type of information.

Hello there im Gerald Grooke from Burnsville Minnesota:)
Every year I seem to receive a notice that my health insurance premiums are going up. While this doesn't surprise me, the amount that it increases does shock me. Upon my next renewal, my quarterly payment will go up about $200. I am now paying more than twice what I originally paid when I first bought this policy about seven years ago, and I've even cut back on benefits significantly over the years. In seven years time, I'm paying more than double and receiving less coverage.
I checked some quotes at Insurancepaylite and was able to check on several premiums I can afford.

Hope this helps.
