I work for an Irish publicly traded company. They have no human resource department, handbook job description etc. 1/2 the employees are Irish, the other 1/2 American. The pay is different among each employee depending on natioanlity,-Irish or American. I held a position for 3.5 years and moved to another area, they replaced me with an Irish person and raised the salary by 30K dollars, this has been done in sevreal departments for the same job. without any valid basis such as experience, higher education, seniority. These people are entry level and have little to no experience. The irish employees receive monetary advances, and all moving expenses paid, they get 3 or more weeks vacation, if it is even monitored. The american employees have complained about the bias and upper management, all Irish, say that this is not true, 4 people have left within the last 3 months for this reason, and The CFO simply says leave. Is this legal. A group of us wanted to file this with the EEOC. Is there anything we can do. Does discrimination on Nation of origin bias in this case American apply-reverse discrimination in our own country. And does the equal pay act apply (i.e. equal pay for equal work)
