What is the name of your state? Washington

Again sorry for posting another post but none of these topics have much to do with eachother. Alright a while back the divorce was under way, then cancelled for a refinance. Now the divorce will be filed again within a month however the STBX is claiming that he can be hit for fraud. Since they both signed the paperwork to drop the divorce as well as to get the refinance, they could both be held for fraud, correct? Just making sure its not a one way street...

Actually, they really have alot to do with each other and that may be why you aren't getting a whole lot of answers. People don't feel like hunting down all of the threads in order to understand your overall situation. You might want to consider deleting all but one thread, and posting all of your questions there.

any help at all please?!
I see one question and the answer is it could be considered fraud on both of their parts if they decided to sign as a married couple and get the money from the refinance. Of course they are both responsible for the mortgage at this point and will remain so regardless of what the court says until one of them refinances yet again. Now what were your other questions? POST THEM IN THIS THREAD ONLY!

New question-

He makes about 5000 take home a month, she makes about 1200 a month take home.

She is saying that she can get a high powered lawyer and make him pay for it.

What are the laws concerning this? Can he opt not to use a lawyer and in turn force her to not use one? If he purchases the services of a lawyer, does he have to purchase her one too? The next question, if so, does he have to be of equal value or can she get a more expensive one? etc?
