What is the name of your state? Minnesota.

I was sitting in math class with "math sucks" Scrolling across the screen of my calculator (Don't bother, I know it is stupid). I had all of my homework and classwork done, and my teacher saw it and flipped out. He gave me a 3 day In School Suspension. Some of my friends had the same thing, and he just laughed. Was that reasonable punishment?

While you have the freedom to express youself, you also have a responsibility to do so in a manner not to infringe upon other's rights.

If there is a school board meeting soon or if there are other alternatives to appeal the suspension, then I would suggest doing so. HOWEVER, not on the grounds that others did it.

On the grounds that your teacher is punishing you for a preceived, personal bias that has infringed on your 1st amendment rights.
