Unfortunately, there is no "main" registry to check for things like marriage licenses, that would be compiled from the thousands and thousands of counties, cities and towns all over these United States. Right now, it would be an impossible task to find such a license, if it existed at all at the time of your marriage, because without a main registry, it would be like looking for a needle in a huge haystack.
