california ~ my boyfreind was still married and we got married at a wedding chapel in Las Vegas.. i understand this is bigamy and our marriage is anulled automatically? what are the legal ramifications for him/us?

It is not annuled automatically. You need to petition to have it annuled.

For him, he could be charged with bigamy and spend 27 years in the Elvis wedding chapple singing about a teddy bear.

how does one petition to have it annulled ..? and who will put my boyfreind in jail for 27 years... ? can it be prevented its not something i want to happen.. is the answer to speak to an attorney? or if I just let things happen on their own what will happen? please advise

Yes consult a Family Law Attorney who will help you file the petition.
