hello i was married in 98. i found out my wife was cheating on me while i was in basic training. i met a girl in training an took her to the court house in virginia. to marry her although i was stlll married. when i was origionally married it was in florida. i left for my duty station in california. i never lived with the girl in virginia. the army found out about it and punished me. in 2001 i filed for divorce from my wife in florida. we ended up getting back together for the last few years.
i want to re marry. my divorce will be final from the girl in florida in 6 months, can i remarry? how do i clear up the mistake in virginia. do i have to clear it up before i get remarried. i know i have to be divorced. but how can i take care of that. in 98 i had a warrant for my arrest in virgina. the army punished me do i still have to be punished. is there a way to clear it up?
thank you courtney

My response:

Have you ever seen, or heard, Abbott & Costello's "Who's on First" ?

That's the way your post sounds. It's so confusing, it's funny.
