Summation: December 2003 , afternoon bike ride. Car begans rather quick deaccelartion about 100-150 " in fornt of me at 40-45 mph. I attempt to slow to a stop ,down shift and braking. Transmission will not shfit down and wil not go into neutral. I option for the grass on the side of the road in case I crah I might live . Larg communinty mailbox "appears" out of nowhere :rolleyes: . 3 month hospital broken neck ,multiple skull fractures,hematomas etc. I am now haviungmajor problems keeoping mu job of 15 years due to cognitive damage from brain inuries . Is it to late to ry and reach a compensatory settlement?Large international manufacturer. I received a safety recall notice aprx 3 weeks after the incident "dont ride,transmission could malfunction cause rear tire to lockup and result in serious injury or death. Only problem was I was still semi commatose and unable to undersatnd it after the fact. Is itto late to pursue? Thanx
