i live in louisiana i need to know i sold a trailer to someone and i have my copy of the bill of sell the other person never put it in there name. the person that bought it left it and now owner of a trailer park is trying to get me to pay to have trailer moved can they do this to me

It's still registered to you and you still have possession of it. Pay to have it removed, get a receipt and when the buyer shows up to get his trailer, request reimbursement. Sue in small claims court, if necessary.

Making up a fake bill of sale would be a neat way to avoid responsibility while retaining possession, if it worked. :rolleyes:
