binding or not

Junior Member
What is the name of your state? Georgia.
I sold my business 1 year ago. The Buyers lawyer needed a signature when I was out of town. I gave verbal permission to the Buyers girlfriend to sign my name to that doc. that she told was Property Owner's Affidavit, but 1 year later found out she signed a no compete contract also. This was not what Ihad given permission for. At the closing of the loan I only signed my name to 2 documents..Nothing to do with a no compete contract. I did not receive any paper work other than Settlement statment showing what the business sold for and how much went to me etc. Is this binding? Or, is this signature forgery. Can I win in court if it comes to that.
